We're open!

17th March, 2021 Read time: Two minutes

We're re-opening some of our doors to do our best to support as many people as we can.

We’re really excited to be opening from the 15th March! Whilst our services have continued digitally during lockdown, we know that sometimes you just need a face to face chat to get things back on track.

We’ll still be available online if you need it though, we just want to make sure we’re accessible to anyone who needs help getting back into work.

Here’s what things will look like:

  • The Hub in Nottingham will be open from Monday 22nd March via invitation only. Your coach will be in touch if this is the case.

  • Our Mansfield Centre will be open to the public for both pre-booked and drop-in appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-3pm. Staff will be on hand to help those 18+ with CVs, interview techniques and general support to get into work.
  • Appointments can be made by emailing hello@the-futures-group.com or calling 0800 917 9419. If you arrive before your pre-booked allotted time, you’ll be asked to wait outside.

  • Our Nottingham Maid Marian Way centre will be open to the public from the 29th March Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30am-3pm Monday-Friday through appointment only, just email hello@futuresforyou.com or call 08000 85 85 20 and we’ll get you booked in. Staff will be supporting both adults and young people.

  • Our Leicester Centre is opening from May 4th and will be open to the public for pre-booked appointments Mondays to Thursdays between 10am-3:30pm.

What are we doing to ensure yours, and our people’s safety?

  • All our centres are being deep cleaned every evening by a professional cleaning company. We’ll also be sanitising things like desks and keyboards throughout the day.

  • Staff on duty will take a lateral flow test, staff testing will act as an additional proactive measure in detecting the virus whilst working with the public.

  • There’ll be a maximum of 3 customers in our Mansfield Centre and Maid Marian Way at any time, and a maximum of 5 customers at The Hub in Nottingham. You must also have an appointment to be allowed into any of our buildings.

  • All staff at our centres have been equipped with a re-usable Face Visor, a number of face masks, and a supply of hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes.

  • Plastic screens have been installed at reception desks to give an extra layer of protection.

  • You’ll find hand sanitiser stations when you arrive and you’ll be asked to use it when entering the building.

  • You’ll see a range of signs reminding you to sanitise before seeing the adviser, maintain social distance, and not entering if they have any symptom of the virus.

We’re taking Covid-19 seriously, which is why we’ll continue to be flexible. We want this to work for everyone. If you live too far from our centre and don’t want to use public transport, we can be flexible and meet outdoors, somewhere closer to you. And we’ll continue our digital support.
