John Yarham

Chief Executive

I have over 20 years’ experience in the employment and skills sector, and am as passionate about it today as I was at the beginning of my career. I’m committed to the sector, spurred on by the difference we make. Every day I’m driven by the knowledge that the work we do at Futures facilitates social mobility, we improve lives. I’m incredibly proud of our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating but more so for what this means for the people we support. It’s a demonstration of the quality of the advice and support they can expect from us. I’m a trustee of several charities and the Vice-Chair of Careers England. I’m also a keen cyclist and have two daughters.

My role is instrumental in securing business growth for the benefit of the people we support. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking and undertaking property renovations.

Matt Davis

Head of Business Development and Fund Raising

I'm motivated by using my business development skills to help support the most vulnerable people achieve their goals. Throughout my career I've enabled organisations to deliver vital services through generating the funds they need to do more. I spend most of my free time with my family. Every weekend is whirlwind of swimming lessons, karate camps and trips to the park, I wouldn't have it any other way. When I occasionally have spare time without my children I play the guitar, write and like to run.

Simon Ball

Chief Information Officer

I’m inspired by the satisfaction people get from having IT systems which help rather than hinder them, and which support them and help them to make better business decisions. I’ve worked in various companies building and improving IT service desks, building and implementing software and managing reporting architecture and automation. I play bass and electric guitar and gig regularly in covers and tribute bands, and organise regular events in Leicester. I like sci-fi and fantasy books, DIY, Marvel and Tai Chi.
