Meet the Leadership Team

Peter Brammall

Chief Executive

My original career was in commercial banking, which proved to be an excellent grounding in working with employers, assessing their businesses and enabling them to grow and develop. During a spell as a tutor at the bank’s Staff Training College I caught the bug which subsequently shaped my career: seeing the power of individual support and upskilling sparked a passion which would see me lead a range of organisations over the next 2 decades in the education, welfare and skills sectors dedicated to working with those vulnerable or disadvantaged who needed help to progress. I’m passionate about our mission to make a difference to people’s lives, inspiring them to achieve their potential and am delighted to be involved in helping Futures on the next stage in its evolution, securing positive change which transforms lives for even more young people and adults. My other passions are my family and my football team, which I often combine with regular trips, in the UK and abroad, to see my beloved Manchester City in action.

Sandra Cowley

Commercial Director

Having worked within the Further Education sector for the last 19 years, I am an advocate of lifelong learning and committed to ensuring individuals have access to opportunities to learn skills which make a positive impact on their lives and the communities they live in. Throughout my career I have helped businesses with their talent attraction, skills development, and succession planning strategies as I truly believe people are businesses greatest asset when they are nurtured and developed. My role is instrumental in securing business growth for the benefit of the people and businesses we support. When not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends and undertaking property renovations.

Director of Programmes

I have two decades of successful experience within the FE and Welfare sectors. I am a target oriented Senior Manager and Director with wide and successful experience in the management of strategic change programmes, commercial training and contract management. I am a hands-on problem solver with a high rate of achievement and an appetite for new challenges, I am a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace. I am a family man with three young boys so spend the majority of my time driving them to various sporting events but I can also be found with my head under the bonnet of a car as I am passionate about restoring VW Beetles.

Jennie Willock

Chief Finance Officer

My responsibility spans Finance, IT and MI. I like the challenge of telling a story through numbers to make them come to life, I am a very systems and process driven person. I enjoy travel and my biggest indulgence used to be an annual trip to a Dude Ranch in Arizona, before my son was born a couple of years ago. I joined Futures because I bought into the values of the company and believe that everyone should have the opportunity to improve their lives through education and work.

Head of Business Development and Fund Raising

I'm motivated by using my business development skills to help support the most vulnerable people achieve their goals. Throughout my career I've enabled organisations to deliver vital services through generating the funds they need to do more. I spend most of my free time with my family. Every weekend is whirlwind of swimming lessons, karate camps and trips to the park, I wouldn't have it any other way. When I occasionally have spare time without my children I play the guitar, write and like to run.

Kerry Wilson

I work to ensure the board, CEO and the team are able to concentrate on the bigger aspects of leadership. I'm dedicated and focused on the future, supporting the implementation of key actions. I enjoy cycling and spending time with family and friends.
