The Futures Group chosen as approved training provider by Careers & Enterprise Company

What does that mean?

The Careers & Enterprise Company have selected providers to deliver careers leadership training in response to the government’s Careers Strategy, which includes statutory guidance stating all secondary schools and colleges should have a named Careers Leader in place from September 2018.

Careers Leaders are responsible and accountable for the delivery of their school’s programme of careers advice and guidance and are responsible for providing a clear overview of the school’s careers provision, and manage it to meet the eight Gatsby Benchmarks by the end of 2020.

As an approved training provider, we are proud to offer both our Leadership in Careers and Enterprise programme and other Careers Advice and Guidance training, which can be taken in order to boost the confidence and ability of Careers Leaders to embed the Gatsby Benchmarks across the curriculum.

Careers & Enterprise Company funding is available for schools and colleges across nine regions. Among the approved training providers, we are one of the few who offer courses in all areas.
