We’re thrilled to announce a significant milestone in adult education at Futures. We’ve secured a substantial contract allocation that will empower and upskill 3000 individuals across the East Midlands. This achievement marks a major step forward in providing accessible and high-quality employment opportunities to adults in the region.

The adult education budget contract provision at Futures has been specifically tailored to meet the diverse needs of benefit claimants in the East Midlands. With a focus on enhancing employability and professional development through a range of courses that are designed in partnership with employers with live vacancies who will offer guaranteed job interviews. This offering aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

With a recent "Good" rating, as determined by the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills (OFSTED), learners can rest assured that they will receive education and training of the highest quality. This esteemed accreditation further underscores the commitment of Futures to delivering excellence in adult education.

The goal is to offer an inclusive learning environment that caters to employment seekers of all backgrounds and abilities. By addressing specific skills gaps and fostering lifelong learning, this initiative aims to unlock the potential of individuals and contribute to the socioeconomic growth of the East Midlands region. Unlike a recruitment agency, this funded service supports local businesses to fill vacancies through a free, recruitment service that sources, screens and prepares local candidates with industry specific qualifications.

"We’re immensely proud to have been awarded this adult education budget contract allocation. It represents a significant opportunity to empower individuals across the East Midlands, enabling them to enhance their skills, broaden their horizons, and achieve their goals," said Jennie Willock, Chief Executive Officer at Futures. "We’re committed to providing an exceptional learning experience, and our recent Ofsted 'Good' rating validates our ongoing dedication to quality."

With the new allocation, Futures aims to create a lasting impact on the lives of 3000 individuals, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market. By nurturing a culture of continuous learning and professional development, this initiative aspires to enhance employability, boost economic growth, and contribute to the overall prosperity of the East Midlands.
