- Salary: Grade 3.4 with a salary of £27,520 per annum (pro-rata for part time)

What are we looking for?
Highly skilled, resilient Skills Coaches are an important part of our growing Apprenticeship provision here at Futures for Business. This particular opportunity of CDP Skills Coach is open to individuals with significant workplace experience of current industry practices in Career Guidance and Development and those who have a passion for providing outstanding service in the workplace.
Develop competency, skills and knowledge of the delivery of Apprenticeship Standards and including the teaching and embedding of Maths and English functional skills to Level 2 is an essential part of this role.
The successful candidate will be accountable for progress of learners using our online E-portfolio, learner destination and progress reviews. They will be expected to deliver teaching & learning, assignment marking, functional skills exam preparation and delivery while supporting our onboarding and enrolment process.

Job Specification Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Qualified Assessor Award A1.
- Assessors must hold either the QCG, DipCG, QCGD, Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development, Unit 3 of the Level 6 Diploma (Career guidance theory), Level 4 LDSS NVQ (Supporting Young People) or Level 4 Advice and Guidance NVQ. For assessors who have achieved either the LDSS or Advice and Guidance NVQ, career guidance must have been studied and applied as part of the qualification
- Hold Functional Skills Maths and English L2 showing experience of delivery
- Excellent interpersonal skills (particularly effective communication, flexibility, adaptability and initiative skills)
- Able to manage time and work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining quality standards
- Effective administrative, organisational and planning skills
- A positive, approachable team player with a can-do attitude
- Hold a full, clean driver’s licence due to frequent travel involved.
