Quality Improvement Specialist

  • Salary: Grade 6 with a salary scale starting at £31,000

The Role

Futures are passionate about ensuring a high-quality experience for all our apprentices and we are pleased to be recruiting for a quality improvement specialist to join our established Quality Team. We are looking for a quality driven individual to drive a culture of quality improvement throughout the apprenticeship journey towards end point assessment.

The successful candidate will have a broad experience of working within a further education setting and a good understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection framework. Experience of apprenticeship standards and current working knowledge of end point assessment practices is essential. We value the positive impact of effective coaching, and a desire to build relationships with colleagues to develop and maintain best practice standards is critical for success in this role.

The role is predominantly remote working with some travel within the East Midlands region.

The successful candidate

  • Have robust knowledge and experience of apprenticeship Standards.
  • Hold a certificate in End Point Assessment and have experience of EPA activity.
  • Hold a minimum of Level 4 Teaching qualification, and Level 4 Quality Assurance.
  • Have a good understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to support colleagues to learn and develop through coaching and mentoring.
  • Hold English and Maths qualifications to a minimum of Level 2.
