In Work Support Advisor - Restart (FTC)

  • Salary: £23,000 - £25,750 per annum (Grade 4)

The Role

Futures has been successful in winning contracts as part of the supply chain to support the delivery of the Restart Programme. Restart is the DWP’s major new welfare-to-work programme to provide employability support to the long-term unemployed people to help them into work.

The In Work Support Adviser is an essential part in our drive to support our customers who have been long-term unemployed.  The In Work Support Adviser will build and maintain effective rapport with their customers to ensure they are supported through their first 6 months of employment and support them in developing, enabling them to take the next steps in their career.  There will also be an element of supporting other areas of Restart as required.

The successful candidate


  • A passion for helping people.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
  • Good organisational and IT skills (including working with internal system)
  • Experience working in a fast paced, evolving and targeted environment.
  • Works effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to co-ordinate the support needed for customers to help them find work to change their lives.
  • Ability to offer a bespoke guide to supporting customers to remain in sustainable employment.
